To help me get even more motivated and inspired for the short film , I decided to have a look on the IDMB website for the top 100 greatest films of all time , which many consisted of action movie genres which is what myself and Robert have decided to base our short film on.
Batman The Dark Knight
Rank #4 : 2008 ‧ Crime film/Drama film ‧ 2h 32m
Rank #4 : 2008 ‧ Crime film/Drama film ‧ 2h 32m
Director: Christopher Nolan
Batman The Dark Knight is an incredibly successful action/adventure film that consists of incredible soundtrack , stunts and violence directed by an excellent director. The film made over 1 Billion dollard at the box office and is one of the most successful films of all time. I am specifically impressed about the action scenes in this movie as they are aimed for reality and are not fake comic book based fighting.
Inception
Rank #14 : 2010 ‧ Fantasy/Mystery ‧ 2h 28m
Director : Christopher Nolan
Again this film is by an amazing director 'Christopher Nolan' which has created a unique outstanding fantasy film where a thief has the rare ability to enter people's dreams and steal their secrets from their subconscious.
The Matrix
Rank #18 : 1999 ‧ Fantasy/Action ‧ 2h 30m
Directors: Larry Wachowski, Andy Wachowski
This film is great because Because if you take away all the narrative elements and visual effects which are excellent on their own, you are left with a question that is always there but never asked, you question your own reality which is incredibly innovative of the directors to come up with that plan for the film to get the viewers thinking.
