Movie posters

02:35:00
This is my Movie poster copy of the film called 'The dark Knight' which I have made on Adobe Photoshop from scratch to show off what I can do to the best of my abilities at the moment on photoshop. I have included techniques/effects like smoke, fire , layers, different contrasts and atmospheric moods.

I also had a tester round with making a little edit of Daniel Craig with some effects including smoke and lighting effects. I did this to get to grips with photoshop as I think the software is complicated because I've never used Photoshop before.

Class lighting workshop

03:42:00
During our last media session in class , we took part in a little workshop which involved looking at 2 different types of effective lighting which included Caravaggio and an artist called Tim Walker who uses light lanterns to create different atmospheric moods. By taking part in this work shop , it has now given me a couple more thoughts and inspirations on how to make the lighting in my short film more effective.

Here are some examples of some photos I took of Tim walker ligting experiments consisting of artificial light in paper coloured lanterns:

These are the other photos I took of the Caravaggio experiments consisting of light areas and dark shadows:

Looking at previous yr 13 A2 blogs

15:21:00
From looking at previous A2 year 13 blogs:

I understand that my blog posts need to be consistant and analytical if I want to maintain my blog post qualities being over the standard average.

Many of the blogs contain a huge variety of media embedded devices including Prezi, Piktochart and powerpoint. I have already experienced using these in the past so I should'nt have a problem using them again.

There is also some audience interaction used from questionnaires in blog posts. I think this a great idea and it will most probably be used by myself for my blog when appropiate to do so.

I've also realised that many successful A2 students have consistantly included screenshots several times in their blogs to show evidence, sources and originality. This is another technique to think about using throughout my A2 level year 13 blog!
